favorite years. But seriously, what are your plans for this car? If you are planning on doing a fairly serious restoration, or build based on this car, I don't think $3500 is too much IF the sheet metal in this car is in EXCELLENT shape. But it is a rare bird that will meet that criterion. Get it up on a rack and go over it closely, everywhere that WAGGZ says. Get the carpets out and even look under the seats. No. I'm not kidding, even under the seats. An undercoated car will be tough to evaluate because sometimes it has been applied over panels that have started to rust. Bring a sober minded, disinterested person, preferably an early Z car expert, or two with you to advise and keep you objective. I'd love to have a primo specimen of the early cars. They are pretty cool looking. But then I'm biased. Good luck
